Symptoms

After migrating an ADF application from 12.1.3 to 12.2.1.4, during the insert operation, brackets are added to the column in the Database. This causes a failure in binding values
to dropdown and text fields appear with square brackets [].



The same code works fine in 12.1.3 but after migrating it to 12.2.1.4, the insert operation does insert the data but adds brackets [] to the column.
