Accessing /consolehelp Fails with the Error "java.security.cert.CertificateException: No subject alternative names present" (Doc ID 2748880.1)

Symptoms

After enabling SSL for Weblogic Admin Server, accessing /consolehelp gives the error "java.security.cert.CertificateException: No subject alternative names present"

 

The problem is only seen if setting "-DUseSunHttpHandler=true" exists.
