Getting Error "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Script text to compile cannot be null!" When Using Groovy Expression in View Object (Doc ID 2751947.1)

An ADF application has a page with a View Object that contains a View Criteria with a bind variable and a View Accessor with a bind variable.

When the page is run, the following error occurs:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Script text to compile cannot be null!

If the View Accessor is removed, the error disappears.
