LDAP Connection refused error on BPM Composer while starting Oracle BPM server (Doc ID 2752215.1)

Symptoms

When starting the Weblogic server on Oracle BPM installation the following errors can be observed on the standard output  during the startup:

Where  host and port correspond to the WLS server that is being started.
