Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
Folder ACLs are not populated when propagating folder permission in WebCenter Portal.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect folder ACLs to be pre-populated with the current folder permissions when propagating folder permissions.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
- Create a Portal and give View grants to some users as follows:
e.g.:
Portal: PortalDocPermissions
Grants to users:
UserA - Viewer
UserB - Viewer
UserC - Viewer
UserD - Viewer
Grants to Groups:
Group1 - Viewer
- Create a folder in the portal.
e.g. ParentFolder.
- Set custom permissions in the ParentFolder as follows:
User Access List:
UserA - R
UserB - R
Group Access List:
Group1 - R
- Test Propagate permissions from the ParentFolder from WebCenter Portal.
Note the User Access List is empty.
