Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Folder ACLs are not populated when propagating folder permission in WebCenter Portal.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect folder ACLs to be pre-populated with the current folder permissions when propagating folder permissions.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Create a Portal and give View grants to some users as follows:
    e.g.:

    Portal: PortalDocPermissions

    Grants to users:
       UserA - Viewer
       UserB - Viewer
       UserC - Viewer
       UserD - Viewer

    Grants to Groups:
       Group1 - Viewer

  2. Create a folder in the portal.
    e.g. ParentFolder.

  3. Set custom permissions in the ParentFolder as follows:

    User Access List:
       UserA - R
       UserB - R

    Group Access List:
       Group1 - R

  4. Test Propagate permissions from the ParentFolder from WebCenter Portal.
Note the User Access List is empty.
