SOA Workflow Notification Not Picking Email Address When Using getUserProperty (Doc ID 2752777.1)

Symptoms

For email notification, using ids:getUserProperty(bpmn:getDataObject('prDirectSupplierStagingInfo')/ns:USER_NAME,'mail') in the composite to get the email id of the user in the "To" field i.e in the recipient's email.
This expression is not able to fetch the email address from OID/LDAP and when hard coding the email address manually then getting notification mail.
