Active data persistence not adding back to the write-behind buffer (Doc ID 2753322.1)

Last updated on MARCH 07, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Coherence - Version 12.2.1.4.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

1) Even though data is recovered using active data persistence, it does not get added back to the write-behind buffer. Need more info about the specific process that the cache goes through when recovering persisted data or any suggestions as to how to link persisted data back into a write-behind buffer.

2) Is it possible to invoke cache store implementation multiple times ? for example,  In a 2 node cluster where write-behind is implemented, if one of the node goes down and rejoins the cluster, the data in the buffer (in-memory) is lost and does not write the data into the DB. Is there a way to persist the buffer and how to invoke cache store implementation multiple times ?
