IBM DB2 Datastores No Longer Display Description/Labels After Upgrading to ODI 12.2.1.4 (Doc ID 2753392.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4, the column names displayed for a Data/View Data operation on the models representing an IBM DB2 datastore no longer show a descriptive name (description or label) in Studio. Instead, they show the column name. This occurs with the WebLogic-branded Progress DataDirect JDBC drivers shipped with Fusion Middleware and used by ODI.
