ODI 12c Legacy Export-Import in Duplication Mode Reverses the Order of 'Unpivot Transforms' (Doc ID 2756721.1)

Symptoms

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4, after standard (aka legacy) export / import of a mapping or mapping duplication the order of "unpivot transforms" is reversed.

The issue is not observed when using smart export / import.

Also, this issue did not occur in ODI 12.2.1.2.6.

To reproduce:

  1. Create a mapping using "unpivot" component
  2. Right-click to export in legacy mode.
  3. Import the mapping in duplication mode
  4. Select the "unpivot" component of the imported mapping and go to the "Unpivot Transforms" in "Properties"
    => Notice that the order is reversed
