After Upgrading to 12c, CKEditor Tag Behavior Changes: Italics <i> Become <em> and Bold <b> Become <strong>
1) Enter the following into CKEditor field:
This is some bold text
This is some italicized text
- Note: Higlight "bold" and clicked the B button.
Higlight "italicized" and clicked the "I" button.
2) Clicked Source button, and the text was the following:
In Sites 12c,
<div>This is some <strong>bold </strong>text</div>
<div>This is some <em>italicized </em>text</div>
Prior to the upgrade, this would display as the following:
<div>This is some <b>bold </b>text</div>
<div>This is some <i>italicized </i>text</div>
