Symptoms
On : 12.1.3.0.0 version, OSB Transports
Have exposed Proxy JSON service which client users set the Authorization header and JSON body. Authorization Header parameters are not coming in the inbound request header when testing with HTTP endpoint.
Ex:
<con:transport>
<con:uri>/<Application>/userprofile</con:uri>
<con:mode>request-response</con:mode>
<con:qualityOfService>best-effort</con:qualityOfService>
<con:request xsi:type="http:HttpRequestMetaData" xmlns:http="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports/http" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<tran:headers xsi:type="http:HttpRequestHeaders" xmlns:tran="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports">
<tran:user-header name="Postman-Token" value="xxxxxxxx"/>
<http:Accept>*/*</http:Accept>
<http:Accept-Encoding>gzip, deflate, br</http:Accept-Encoding>
<http:Connection>keep-alive</http:Connection>
<http:Content-Length>49</http:Content-Length>
<http:Content-Type>application/json</http:Content-Type>
<http:Host><host>:<port></http:Host>
This service works fine when tested from OSB console using Proxy or pipeline service but if test same service through HTTP endpoint, then only body content is coming but not the header parameter.
The expected result should be:
<con:transport>
<con:uri>/<Application>/userprofile</con:uri>
<con:mode>request-response</con:mode>
<con:qualityOfService>best-effort</con:qualityOfService>
<con:request xsi:type="http:HttpRequestMetaData" xmlns:http="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports/http" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<tran:headers xsi:type="http:HttpRequestHeaders" xmlns:tran="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports">
<tran:user-header name="Authorization" value="xxxxxxx"/>
<tran:user-header name="Postman-Token" value="xxxxxxxx"/>
<http:Accept>*/*</http:Accept>
<http:Accept-Encoding>gzip, deflate, br</http:Accept-Encoding>
<http:Connection>keep-alive</http:Connection>
<http:Content-Length>49</http:Content-Length>
<http:Content-Type>application/json</http:Content-Type>
<http:Host><host>:<port></http:Host>
