Users Don't Have Access To New Security Group (Doc ID 2762763.1)

Symptoms

The <Role_Name> role has RW access to the a newly created security group. 
The users has access to the the Role. 

When the user logs in to UCM the role shows in the users profile.  We have also tried deleting the users profile in UCM.
When the user tries to check-in a document, the security group is not listed
