Connection Filter Rules Fail With Decommissioned Hostnames (Doc ID 2763800.1)

Symptoms

Customer is using multiple connection filter rules, and these rules are set up using DNS names rather than numeric IP addresses. For example, the rules look like this:

Customer removed the sample1.net server from the connection filter rules and the server started successfully. Customer wanted to know if the connection filter parsing rules could bypass the decommissioned hosts and start correctly.
