Applies to:
Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software - Version 2.0.6.3.201020 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The following are a few reasons why Guest vServers network information may go missing in EMOC BUI console.
- As part of Control stack upgrade part of October 2020 PSU, when upgrading OVMM from 3.2.X to 3.4.5 some Guest vServers network information did not inject properly or failed due to some issues.
- OVM Manager DB was rebuilt and network information of Guest vServers was not injected into OVMM after the DB rebuild.
- OVM Manager DB was restored from old DB backups which were taken before the date/time when affected Guest vServer was created.
- Import data failed while doing the OCT2020 PSU.
Following steps in this Note will resolve the issue of network information for Guest vServers in EMoC if the networks are missing for the Guest VM after OCT2020 PSU.
