Goal
Using Database Diff feature in SQL Developer, you want to perform a DDL comparison between two database schemas; however, you do not know the password for the object owner in either database. You can log into the database with a privileged user such as SYSTEM or SYS, but when try to run the comparison tool as SYSTEM, it always says that every single object from the source schema in the first database does not exist in the SYSTEM schema in the destination.
Is there any way to effectively run the Database Diff tool in SQL Developer for a schema that is not the one logged into (that is, as a privileged used such as SYSTEM)?
