ODI Load Plans are Getting Stuck when LDAP Server Goes Down in Load Balanced Environment (Doc ID 2768369.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is configured to use two LDAP servers for External Authentication through a Load Balancer.

ODI Server >   Load Balancer   > LDAP Server 1
                                             > LDAP Server 2

When one of the LDAP Server goes down, the Load Plan being executed gets struck. When the failover happens, Load Plan tries to validate once as a default behavior and once it fails, the Load Plan never completes. Sometimes the Load Plan hangs as well.

For example, when a Load Plan has multiple steps, say 10 steps and when ODI is executing 5th steps and when one of the LDAP server goes down, 5th step is completed, but subsequent steps are not executed and Load Plan fails and is struck and agent log displays the below errors:
