Symptoms

JSF 2.3 Web Application fails to run by "javax.faces.FacesException: Unable to find CDI BeanManager", if there is no beans.xml in WEB-INF.
<Patch 31950565> resolves javax.faces.FacesException in deployment phase. The error in this note is observed in running phase.
