REST Adapter Csf-key Property Ignored
(Doc ID 2772148.1)
Last updated on MARCH 01, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Web Services Manager - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Invoking a REST service using the REST adapter, the csf-key property set at runtime is ignored on any security policy applied to the partnerlink. When invoking the rest service from a client that
has wss11_username_token_with_message_protection_wssc_client_policy attached, the service is not successfully reached.
The REST adapter ignores csf-key <custom-csf-key>.credentials and looks for basic.credentials.
Static override on the adapter configuration does not work since the csf-key needs to be dynamically selected at runtime based on the incoming payload.
basic.credentials is supposed to be overridden by<custom-csf-key>.credentials, as the csf-key property has been set in the invoke activity; however, the REST adapter seems to ignore it.
The following error is generated as a result:
The SOAP adapter works fine with the same csf-key property set on invoke.
