Symptoms

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Procedure execution using Logical Schema on “Generic SQL” Technology with regular expression having parentheses results in extra space getting added leading to incorrect output.

For example, in the following screenshot, ODI Procedure Task uses Logical Schema on Generic SQL Technology with SQL statement containing Regular Expression (REGEX) and parentheses. The output file generated from the Procedure execution is empty when the expected behavior is to create an output file with contents as "ONE TWO THREE".
