Connecting to Apache Hive Database from EDQ Datasource Errors with "[FMWGEN][Hive JDBC Driver]No more data available to read" (Doc ID 2777415.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) 12.2.1.3.0 when testing the connection to Apache Hive DB from EDQ datasource the process fails with the below window error message:

"[FMWGEn][Hive JDBC Driver]No more data available to read"

 



This can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Connect to EDQ director
2. Select New datasource
3. Select type “Apache Hive”
4. Provide Data store configuration details
5. Click Test
