OAM Install Sets Incorrect ORACLE_HOME In SetDomainEnv.sh (Doc ID 2780402.1)

Last updated on MAY 16, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Access Manager - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In order to resolve an issue where PatchList information which is collected at startup of the AdminServer was not being collected for an OAM environment.
It was found that this was due to OAM installation adding a /idm to an ORACLE_HOME variable in the DOMAIN_HOME/bin/setDomainEnv.sh script.

This interferes with this collections of patches.

This note clarify the whether or not "/idm" can be unset from ORACLE_HOME and what it impacts if it is unset.

Changes

Change the value for ORACLE_HOME variable in the DOMAIN_HOME/bin/setDomainEnv.sh script in order to see the patch list via WLS console.
