Symptoms

Retrieval from Remote Database Link views hanging on query when SELECT statement across a database link connect to different version of Database, and this exception "BeginRequest failed because of open transaction on connection" was observed.

DB Topology:      [Oracle 12.1.0.2] <-db-link-> [Oracle 19.6]

Test Result with different DB scenario.
