Symptoms

When running an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Mapping which uses a File technology Data Server as a source that has the HDFS File radio button selected and the JDBC Driver name empty, the following error is returned:


Setup to reproduce:

  1. Create HDFS dataserver in File technology with driver class name empty.
  2. Create simple mapping using the dataserver
