Symptoms
A JSF application is deployed to WebLogic Server 14.1.1, and when accessed over https, it is showing the below error in the browser:
ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR
The server .out file is showing "java.net.SocketException: Socket closed":

Recently upgraded from WLS 12c where everything was working.
