Symptoms

When using the SOA Direct Binding APIs (https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/11119/soasuite/SOASE/invocapi.htm#SOASE85538)  and when the client is on an IBM AIX server running the IBM JDK and the SOA server is using the Oracle JDK the following error is seen.
