Huge Latency Spike with GoldenGate HotCache when Performing Database Transactions (Doc ID 2785466.1)

Symptoms

Experiencing huge lag (up to 93 minutes, lasting for 3.5 hours) when processing trail files under specific load. This brings us way beyond the SLA of 5 minutes delay. The nature of this data processing pipeline is based on roughly 20 billing cycles per month. These billing cycles triggers a lot of database operations in a few hours. Burst / batch behavior. Once billing occurs on the source database side, changes are pushed to Coherence via HotCache. There are a few event interceptors triggered when caches are updated by HotCache. After some point, HotCache/Coherence is lagging by more than 93 minutes.
