Symptoms


Executing the migration.bat to migrate from OWB to ODI fails with:


D:\<OWB_HOME>\owb\bin\win>migration.bat <ODI_MASTER_REPOSITORY_PASSWORD> <ODI_USER_PASSWORD> <WORKSPACE_OWNER_PASSWORD> migration.config
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=512m; support was removed in 8.0
Migration failed. Details: [ERROR][Migration][OWB]Unable to connect to OWB workspace! Details: API0419: Could not connect to the database.

API0420: Error message: Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12514, TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor
