This article provides step by step instruction on how to upgrade from Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management (OEMM) 12.2.1.2 to 12.2.1.4.

 Step 1 Download and install OEMM 12.2.1.3 patch 31769360 into new directory. 
 Step 2. Create a new OEMM 12.2.1.3 repository in a schema which is different from OEMM 12.2.1.2
 Step 3: Backup the OEMM 12.2.1.2 repository using the OEMM GUI
 Step 4. Understand the Data Locations in OEMM 12.2.1.2
  Step 5. Follow the upgrade procedure
 Step 6. Restore the backup taken in OEMM 12.2.1.2 (step 3) into OEMM 12.2.1.3 repository.
 Step 7. The 12.2.1.3 upgrade contains new and improved import bridges that would require to fully re-import all models (remove incremental harvesting in such case) and this will therefore require to re-build the related Configurations.
 Step 8. Verify that all OEMM 12.2.1.3 applications function as expected.
 Step 9. Follow Document 2737999.1 'How To Upgrade from OEMM 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4'  to migrate OEMM 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4
