Goal

On : 19.1.0.0.4 version, 1 - Oracle DB backend

Minimum Frequency for Heartbeat and Checkpoint


Planning to set a frequency of 1 second to Heartbeat (default is 60 seconds) and reduce the Checkpoint frequency by 5 seconds (default is 10 seconds).

Need to know the below,

1. Can we set the GG Heartbeat frequency to 1 second? What will be the impact of setting to this low value? What is the recommended value if we need to reduce this frequency?
2. Can we reduce the Checkpoint Frequency to 5 seconds? What will be the impact of setting to 5 seconds? What is the recommended value?
