OIM Managed Server Fails to Start after OS Patching in a Clustered Environment

In a clustered environment, say 5 OIM servers in a cluster in which OIM_HOST1 and OIM_HOST4 are updated with the patches of Oracle Linux 7 and the other 3 nodes are not patched. During the startup of the OIM_HOST1, the startup fails with the below error:
It looks like JChannel is stuck and waiting for a reply from the coordinator (the other patched node) for a JOIN, and is never receiving it. The same issue can be seen during the startup of the OIM_HOST4 as well.
The other 3 nodes which were not patched were not affected.
Applied patches of Oracle Linux 7 Operating System to 2 of the nodes in the cluster of 5 nodes of OIM.
