Running Sqoop in OdiOSCommand Fails with "Database does not exist" Error (Doc ID 2794610.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c, a package has an OdiOSCommand step which is executing Sqoop command.


The Sqoop command can be run from the Hadoop EdgeNode (CMD) without issues.
However, the OdiOSCommand executing Sqoop fails with the following error:
