While invoking GGSCI From OGG Big Data Home Fails With OGG-10111 Error Opening Parameter Definition File ggparam.dat (Doc ID 2796507.1)

Symptoms

While invoking ./ggsci from OGG Big Data home fails with the following errors:

[oracle@test:<ogg_home>]# ./ggsci

Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data

Version 19.1.0.0.8 (Build 002)

Oracle GoldenGate Command Interpreter

Version 19.1.0.0.210228 OGGCORE_19.1.0.0.0OGGBP_PLATFORMS_210212.1752.2

2021-07-31 12:30:39 WARNING OGG-01525 Failed to open trace output file, '<ogg home>/dirdmp/gglog-ggsci.dmp', error 2 (No such file or directory).

2021-07-31 12:30:39 ERROR OGG-01668 PROCESS ABENDING.

And file ggparam.dat* exist under ogg home:

[oracle@test]# cd <ogg_home>

[oracle@test<ogg_home>]# ls -ltr ggparam.dat*

-rwxr-x--- 1 oracle oinstall 52845120 Mar 18 21:56 ggparam.dat
