Symptoms

On : 12.2.1.3.0 version, Admin server fail to start after applying the July 2021 patch using SPBAT, the following error occurs while booting Admin server.

 

Changes

SPBAT fail to apply the July 2021 PSU, customer changed the .globalEnv.properties to point the Oracle JDK from OpenJDK and able to apply the patch successfully, but ClassNotFoundException started happening after that.
