By default the Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c (12.x) Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) is configured with SSL for security. This document shows how to configure the OHS to use non-SSL connection. There is no direct reason to do this unless for some reason the SSL was failing and needing a temporary workaround. It is not recommended to disable SSL in production. Note that this also has not been fully tested across the Oracle Fusion Middleware stack and may not be supported where other components may require SSL only.
Oracle does NOT RECOMMEND Non-SSL configuration of OHS. The following steps have to be performed at your own risk.
