Capture Process in Classic Mode Cannot Start due to OGG-02830 when Source Database is RAC + ASM environment (Doc ID 2802373.1)

Symptoms

Capture process cannot start with OGG-02830.

This symptom occurred under the following conditions.

- The capture process was added in classic mode.
- The source database is RAC + ASM environment.
- TRANLOGOPTIONS DBLOGREADER parameter is set.
