摘要:

中间件的出现突破了二层结构的局限性，为构建大规模、高性能、分布式应用程序提供了通信、事务、安全、容错等基础服务。WebLogic作为业界著名的中间产品之一自1997年诞生以来，产品自身在不断地发展完善，至今都拥有稳定的用户群，在金融、电信、保险、制造业等许多领域中发挥了重要的作用。

当下微服务和分布式架构变的越来越流行，而简单，可靠，高效，跨平台和跨语言的 Web Service 则是这类系统架构的基石。RESTful Web Service 恰好满足这些特点，被越来越多的系统架构所采用。

RESTful Web Service 是一种采用 REST 架构约定，更加简单，更加轻量的Web Service。在WebLogic12c中默认已经支持Jersey 2.x（JAX-RS 2.0 RI），无须注册共享库就可以直接使用。
