Dynamic Group Membership Not Showing / Not Listed for Users in BPM (Workspace -> User Name -> Get user details)

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Using dynamic-groups defined in external LDAP server.
After following Doc ID 1620956.1, able to see dynamic groups in the WebLogic (WLS) console.
However, not able to see the group membership for users in Oracle Business Process Management Suite (BPM) application, under Workspace -> User Name -> Get user details.
Issue is related to dynamic groups only in BPM.
For the static groups everything works fine in BPM.
Verified affected users are included in the dynamic group.
Restarting the entire stack does not help.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Oracle BPM Workspace url
2. Login with affected user name
3. In the top right corner click on the user name -> Click on User details
4. The User info window pops up but the dynamic group the user belongs to is not listed
