Is JDBC 12 Compatible For TAC (Transparent Application Continuity) 19c Functionality? (Doc ID 2814575.1)

Goal

Application Continuity (AC) was introduced in Oracle Database 12.1 and later Transparent Application Continuity (TAC) was introduced in Oracle Database 18c.
If there is an application using JDBC Driver 12.1, would this JDBC version (12.1) will be able to handle TAC as well?
