ADF 12c Required Validation In Table Collection - Row Focus Issue (Doc ID 2814928.1)

In an ADF 12.2.1.4 application page that contains required form input fields and table collection that has required field, the following behavior is observed:
If you submit the form the ADF required validation fires and displays message on top of the page. Upon clicking the table field error message, system focus appropriate row in table where the error occurs.
However, the subsequent clicking on any error message field on top of the page makes the focus remain on the previously selected field instead of the current form field.
The expected behavior should be upon clicking the error message field, the system should focus the appropriate form field.
