Asset Stuck In Workflow Assigned To Nobody - "This asset has no workflow participants associated with it." (Doc ID 2817083.1)

Symptoms

There is an asset stuck in the workflow.

1) When viewing the asset's Status screen, for the Workflow Commands option list, and selecting the "Show Participants" option, results in the following error, so a workflow cannot be selected:

 2) Additionally, asset's Status screen > Workflow History screen, shows the asset was assigned to "nobody"
