(Doc ID 2818455.1)
Last updated on APRIL 17, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle GoldenGate - Version 19.1.0.0.4 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Customer is using stored procedure which was a part of the installation zip file for 19.1 for extracting from DB2 Z/OS.
There are 2 extracts using same stored procedure.
Even when there is no change happening on the mainframe, many bytes of data being sent to the extract.
The issue they are facing is that , the count of data inserts on the DB2 tables matches with the stats on extract , but on mainframe total bytes send is upto 73MB/sec , 2 to 3 invocations per second and this is causing high MIPS usage which isn't matching the extracted low volume.
