Goal
The article is intended to provide information about how to restrict user database instance access from iSQL*Plus.
You may want to limit the databases instances that users can access in iSQL*Plus to a restricted list. When restricted database access has been enabled, a dropdown list of available databases is displayed in place of the Connection Identifier text field on the Login screen. This enables greater security for iSQL*Plus Servers in hosted environments.
