Symptoms

When "CHR(0)" which is the ASCII character or value represented by 0 or null is inserted at source database the target Kafka gets results like below for those columns:

"<column name>":{"string":"\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000"},"<column name>":{"string":"\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000"},
