Goal

From the documentation, is the list below an exclusive list of connection options for getting Goldengate to connect to IBM DB2 I-Series database? All these options require additional licensing on the IBM side which we would prefer to avoid.

To install Oracle GoldenGate on a remote Linux system, you have the following options for connecting to DB2 on the IBM i system:

IBM Data Server Driver for ODBC and CLI v 11.5 or greater
DB2 Connect v11.5 or greater
IBM Data Server Client v11.5 or greater
IBM Data Server Runtime Client v11.5 or greater

btw: We are running a hub configuration and do not want to have to install goldengate on the i-series and have it run in a remote configuration from the hub.
