How To Link A Single Imaging Document To Multiple Records In The Application (Doc ID 2846246.1)

Goal

There is a requirement to link a single Imaging document to multiple records in the application. This seems to be a similar requirement as in "Is There a Way to Index a Single Document to IPM With Multiple Index Values Within Capture? (Doc ID 756843.1)". Could you please advise how to fulfill this requirement in WebCenter Enterprise Capture 12.2.1.3.0?

Currently, users take a lot of time to upload same document for multiple records, and also consumes extra space on our servers to store same document.
