Xadmin Fails to Startup After Patching: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space (Doc ID 2849269.1)

Symptoms

In Xstore Office V17.0.4:

After Upgrading Xstore Office to Implement patching for CVE-44228, the Xadmin server is crashing with Out of Memory errors.

Error:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Perform required changed for log4j CVE-44228 patch.
2. Start up the Xcenter/Xadmin Application.
3. Xadmin begins using a lot of memory then crashes.


Expected:
Application to start and deploy successfully.

Actual:
Out of Memory Error occurs and the application freezes.

 Applied Server side patching to implement changes required for CVE-2021-44228
