KM Seeding for Execution Type Repositories (Doc ID 2852999.1)

Last updated on MARCH 02, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.4.220112 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Sometimes, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) patches or bundle patches will update the seeded Knowledge Modules (KMs) in an ODI work repository. When this occurs, users without the patch or a lower patch level receive a warning message when connecting to the repository.
See: Document 2023622.1 - "The repository contains map component definitions that are newer than the current client version..." Warning is Signaled when Logging into ODI 12c Studio

Does this also apply to execution type repositories, or is this only the case for development type repositories?
