Back Up of WebLogic Domain Takes a Very Long Time (Doc ID 2855081.1)

Symptoms

 Unable to back up WebLogic domain before applying patches. Using tar command but it's getting stuck at the below file back up, please help us to resolve this issue:

  <Oracle_Home>/.patch_storage/32253037_Dec_9_2020_15_56_07/files/oracle.wls.admin.console.en/12.2.1.4.0/wls.server.symbol/server/lib/consoleapp/APP-INF/lib/commons-beanutils.jar 481 blocks

Copying of files is done over NFS.
