Goal
The scope of this note is to provide clarification to questions related to Multi Data Centers (MDC) session data.
Back Ground
- What is the threshold on which Primary DC and Clone DC OAM Server replicate session data?
- Is there a configuration option available to decrease the threshold value to milli seconds or seconds to ensure that if session data is updated in any one of the OAM Servers it gets replicated/updated across the data centers so that our OAM ASDK application will always have updated session variable value?
- Is the session shared across data center instantaneously(less than a second) or is there a poll mechanism?
- How to update OAM session data in both data centers at same time? Is there any REST API that can be utilized for this purpose?
- Is SessionDataRetrievalOnDemandMax_conn_wait_time for Connection wait time for establishing connection for data retrieval or for Synchronizing data?
