After Migrating ODI Repository DB from 12c to 19c ODI Scenario Using DBLINK KM Hangs During Execution (Doc ID 2855321.1)

Symptoms

After migrating Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.2.0 Repositories from a 12c database to 19c, at least one mapping hangs on a specific step. The step that hangs during execution uses the "LKM Oracle to Oracle (DBLINK)" Knowledge Module.

The same mapping runs without issues using the same code in another environment, that is still using 12c db.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Execute the mapping
  2. Observe that the "Create view/table on source" step of "LKM Oracle to Oracle (DBLINK)" hangs
